Introduction
Wire thread insert is a new type of internal threaded fastener, suitable for threaded connection. It is screwed into and fastened in the threaded hole of one of the connected parts to form a standard internal thread, and the bolt (or screw) is screwed into it. Also known as threaded wire sleeve, wire sleeve for short. It is a spring-like internal and external thread concentric body precisely processed with high-strength, high-precision, and smooth-surfaced cold-rolled diamond-shaped stainless steel wire. It is mainly used to enhance and protect the internal thread of low-strength materials. The principle is to form an elastic connection between the screw and the thread in the base, eliminate thread manufacturing errors, and improve the connection strength.
Material classification
A. Cr-Ni stainless steel material: through the combination of strength and material, it is used under normal circumstances, and is used under mild structure, aluminum alloy structure, sea water, chlorine-containing liquid, and increased corrosion resistance.
B. Copper alloy material: used when copper is required or when the threaded connection is frequently adjusted; used when it is required to be used for electrical conductivity or self-lubricating.
C. High-temperature alloy materials: heat-resistant use when the temperature is 500-750℃; for aerospace assembly technology, aircraft engines, and internal combustion engine turbo compressors when operating within 750℃.
